My Yuko, Kaitlin and Aleisha in tears at the news! |
Sorry, my sweet dollies, but it's true. I just received a confirmation from MGA Entertainment. The BFC Ink line has been discontinued! I had a good suspicion when I could not get onto their website and the BFC Ink logo had disappeared from the MGA Entertainment site. What a bummer! The BFC Ink dolls are no longer being made. I can't believe it! However, there still seem to be a bunch for sale here and there. I had just purchased two. Well, girls, hold on to your BFC Ink dolls because they are collectors items now! And, I for one, will still sew for them! And I never made my video yet!

I wonder what they do with the molds and all the stuff it took to make these lovely dolls. I am still planning some stories to use with mine.
Aww! That stinks. I don't have any, but they always looked pretty, and it's sad they're discontinued. :(
two of the dolls are available on Woot.com about once a month since april for only $15 with $5 all day shipping. So anything you buy all day will cost a one time shipping fee of $5. That's still $20 for a doll (If you only want one). It's still way less than the list price.
I purchased a couple of the Gianna dolls on Woot for Christmas presents. Come Christmas day one of the heads popped off when the kids were opening up the package. My granddaughter was broken hearted. We glued the head back on and I contacted MGA, but they can't help. They offered to refund, but now I'd have to take the doll away from my granddaughter. They came with a 90 day warranty, but I guess that means nothing to MGA. Won't be buying anthing from their lines anyomore.
I didn't even manage to get ONE and they have discontinued?! how sad! I wonder what happened.....
I don't know what happened. I wish some other company would
want to make them. I did get to some stories with them. The latest is the "Alligator Lies" e-book. They are great for doll stories because they are so poseable.
