Hi, I'm Sarah. I have name suggestions for Peanut. How about "Priscilla Rose," "Lillian Georgette," or "Eliza Jane"? She could have lost her hair by Lukemia, and could now be in remission for a very long time. She could have lost faith in God when she got Lukemia, and now she has it back, since she's in remission! I hope this works! I love your blog!

Peanut's real name is Elizabeth. Elizabeth was in her big sister's wedding as a bridesmaid. Elizabeth's hair was in a beautiful bun with a few spiral curls hanging around her face and neck. There was a lot of hair spray in her hair to keep it all in place. When Elizabeth turned around to hold her sister's bouquet she accidentally bumped into the "unity" candles. One little spiral curl caught on fire, but nobody noticed. Now, hair spray is very flamable. Then all of a sudden there was a big BOOM!; and, her whole head was on fire. Elizabeth falls to the ground, and her sister covers her head with the train of her wedding dress. Finally the fire was out, but Elizabeth had no hair. She was so embarressed, that she didn't want anyone to know who she was any more. She disguised her name as Peanut (when she saw a bowl of peanuts at the wedding), until her hair would grow back again.

Peanut's name is Eliza, and she accidently dyed her hair green, (she was trying to make it a lovely ebony- like anne of green gables) but it turned out all wrong, so she cut it, but it didn't grow back yet. :)

Oh, that's upsetting, God's Girl! Thanks for posting. Wow, did anyone notice that two people so far think Peanut should be Eliza and one Elizabeth? I see a trend starting! Sylvia

Peanut was feeling like she was worthless and ugly. She felt God didn't even notice her. So, to make herself feel better, she decided to give herself a makeover. She tried to perm her hair ad die it blond, but it didn't turn out. Peanut's hair fell out after she took out her curlers. She cried all night muttering to herself how ugly she was and that she'd never be pretty. Finally, Peanut's mother came in, and told her that she is beautiful on the inside, and that she's a wonderful gift from God. The next day Peanut went to the hospital and came beautiful and new.

I think Peanut's name should be Dori. It's taken from the French word "Dore", which means gift.

I think Her name should be Gloria, because she was so happy and glorious! :)
What happened to Peanut, was her mother was really mean to her. she picked her up by her hair so much that finally it all came off. She was so sad. And then her mother died (her father was already dead) and she wished she had loved her mother more. But after she got her hair back, and learned more about how God takes away sins, she learned that God had already forgiven her sins when she asked him too, and she wasn't sad anymore! Love the Story! Thanks for the chance to win! You make beautiful clothes! :)

Thanks for the compliments, Rachy. I love using that name again. My daughter is grown now but we used to call her Rachy too! See her picture in my Dec 23, 2010 blog post.

This little girl wanted curls so badly that she got a home permanent, and then she tried using a curling iron which fried her hair. God gave special ability to people to help dolls. So she now has beautiful hair again and she's happy.

I have a name suggestion for Peanut. I think that she looks like a Rachel, or an Isabel...I don't have a background story exactly for her, but perhaps she was caught in a fire and her hair burnt? It's sad, but perhaps that could be her story and name. :)

I would like to enter. I have a parent's permission and I am following your blog as "Hannah". :) Thanks for hosting this giveaway!
